Downloading Controller Skins TuneBar 3 offers a selection of alternate controller skins for you to choose from. The skin that comes bundled with TuneBar is SlimBar, a thin unobtrusive controller that slides down from behind the menubar when needed. If you decide you want to take another controller for a spin then you will first of all need to download that takes your fancy.

First of all, launch TuneBar 3. TuneBar 3 comes with the functionality built right in to it to download skins. When TuneBar has finished loading go to the TuneBar menu. You can access this from the menubar or by right clicking (or control + click) the TuneBar icon on the dock. When you can see the TuneBar menu select the option Download Skins....

In the window that has just appeared there is two main sections; a pale blue column to the left, and a black one to the right. The left column is the selection list. This lists all skins that have been found on this website. Clicking on the name of a skin will bring up a preview of it in the right section. Look through them and decide which skin you prefer. Click the Download button to download the skin on your computer.

Now close the Downloads window, open the TuneBar preferences and select the Skins tab. You can now choose the controller skin in the drop down menu shown. If the skin is not shown in the menu re-launch TuneBar and retry this final step.
